The Good Party
What is the Good Party?
Generational change embracing fresh ideas
At the Good Party, we believe the future of young Australians has been squandered by successive governments, and we seek to redress that. We're about generational change, one that's unafraid of fresh ideas. It's clear that Australia needs them if we're to tackle the difficult problems of the environment, health, education, housing, and taxation. The Good Party is unaligned and, unusually, has zero links to the vested interests of unions, big business, the fossil fuel industry, developers, or religious lobbies. We're also a party with no interest in petty politics, driven by reasoned argument rather than childish squabbling.
How good will it be if we can claim in 2050 that we are the cleanest, greenest, healthiest, happiest country with the lowest crime rate on the planet? That other countries are following our lead, hoping to emulate us? That we have the lowest drug problem, the best education outcomes, the cleanest environment, the fairest social security, the best healthcare, and a business climate the envy of the world? A technologically innovative country with a vibrant economy. A wonderful home for our children and grandchildren.
A utopian dream? The Good Party doesn't believe so.
