A doctor with life experience

Jordan is the kind of person who pitches in. He spent several years helping with community projects in Kerala, India (installing sanitary infrastructure), teaching English to kids in Chiang Rai, Thailand, and working in refugee support in the Netherlands. He has also taught English at the University of Danang, Vietnam, and even put in time as a lifeguard at a public swimming pool in Dalat, Vietnam.

Jordan started his tertiary studies at the University of Queensland, pursuing a BA in Criminology and International Relations. Looking for a further challenge, he switched to Law, completing a Master’s in Applied Law. Not satisfied with these notches on his belt, Jordan moved across to earn a medical degree. Why? The time he spent helping the less fortunate in faraway lands holds the clue. Jordan cares genuinely and deeply about the welfare and well-being of others. Our parliament needs more people like him..

Jordan’s policy focus, understandably, is Australia’s healthcare and the nation’s drug reform. He currently lives in the Northern Rivers region of NSW and works as a GP in a Lismore medical practice.
